Network Marketing Barriers Of Entry And Exit

By Richard OBrien

Why do people gravitate to Network Marketing instead of more traditional businesses? I have been in the restaurant business most of my life and when I was laid off from my traditional job I decided I would like to open a sandwich shop. I started doing some investigating and before I was thru the total cost was around $200,000.00. This is without rent, lights, etc. My how prices had changed since I last owned a business and basically I was buying myself a job that I could work 10-12 hours a day for six days a week. The barrier of entry was way too high.

This is why people turn to Network Marketing. It's inexpensive to get started. Say you spent $3000 to $5000 to get started (you can also do it for less than $500) and you decided it wasn't for you.You could overcome that amount. The lights would not go out in your life. The barrier of exit is too low.

If you invested $200,000.00 you wouldn't walk away after two months if things were not going well. You would work harder and protect you investment. You could not afford to quit. So the barrier of exit is considerably higher.

The return on investment in MLM could reach the level of a CEO. And the capitol would be much less. You can work from home and not have to leave home unless you wanted too. this what true freedom is all about. Living the life you have dreamed about. You don't have to have a degree. You don't have to be a genius, but it does take some other disciplines. You have to be persistent and persevere when obstacles get in the way and there will be plenty.

Remember "If you look at things differently the things you look at change."
