Phoenix Contractor Free Internet Marketing

By Julia R Cruise

There are a lot of companies out there trying to get your money to run a SEO campaign. I am here to offer some simple support and information that will help you get that same info for free. SEO is not hard. If anyone says it is, they are lying. It is only a matter of taking time to do it.

Here are some simple steps to get your web page the ranking that it deserves.
On of the biggest saying in the SEO world is "content is king." If you have a site with no content and only pictures, it won't be found. If you have only words with no direction and point, it won't be found either.

By having content specific info, you will focus on your captive audience easier. Think of Jack Bauer from 24, you need to be direct and to the point. That should help you keep focus.

I believe that any good site will need to have a blog section, or an informational section on the home page. My advice is the first thing you do is put up 5 articles, relating to your overall themes of your website you are trying to promote. Make sure each article has at least 300-500 words. This should get you off on the right foot.

By doing this, you'll have good content to get you started.
Obviously you are doing this to get search engines to read your website as clearly as possible. You need to identify your top 10 keywords that describe your website. Rank them with the best describing keyword first. Take your top one and make sure that the page title to your website is this keyword. Also, make sure that the title of your 5 blogs or articles are matching you top 5 keywords. I would also use those same keywords as much as possible in your first 5 articles.
Now is the time to start thinking of linking, but not until now in the process. Now this is a good priority, but remember, "content is king." Do this only after you have good content on your site. Some of the best ways that I have found to link, is to use social networking sites to help promote yourself. Use Facebook, Myspace, linkedin and whatever other sites you can think of to help you promote it.
I hope this helps get you started. For more info on internet marketing feel free to check back in with me later.
