Jack Frost - A careless father dies in an car mishap and comes to life one year later as a snowman in his kid's front yard! Nice, friendly acting and an absence of hostility make this an alright family film. However, it on no account conquers its quintessential issue, an extremely strange storyline. Lantana - Touching, mature tale of relationships obstructed by monotony, routine, and absence of articulation. LaPaglia plays a cop, whose marriage has stagnated, leading him to have an affair. In the mean time, he investigates the disappearance of a lady whose own marriage is in danger. The film is beautifully nuanced at every turn. Cast includes Anthony LaLaglia, Geoffrey Hurry, Barbara Hershey, Kerry Armstrong, Rachael Blake, Vince Colosimo, Daniela Farinacci, and Peter Phelps. (121 minutes, 2001)

Onionhead - A chaotic motion picture with Griffith joining the Coast Guard in pre WW2 and becoming a ships chef. The movie tries to be a comedy, a romance, and a drama at the same time and succeeds at none. Cast includes Andy Griffith, Felicia Farr, Walter Matthau, Erin O'Brien, Joe Mantell, Ray Danton, James Gregory, Joey Bishop, Roscoe Karns, Claude Akins, Peter Brown, and Tige Andrews. Like Mike - Sweet motion picture for babies in reference to an orphaned boy who possesses sneakers that might have belonged to Michael Jordan and turns into a basketball-playing wonder however what he genuinely wants is a father. Numerous basketball stars appear as their selves. Cast includes Morris Chestnut, Jonathan Lipnicki, Robert Forster, Crispin Glover, and Anne Meara. (99 minutes, 2002)

The Facts of Life - Advanced comedy with Bob and Lucy leaving their spouses for an interlude together. The 2 megastars make a team worth observing. Cast includes Bob Hope, Lucille Ball, Ruth Hussey, and Don DeFore. (103 minutes, 1960)

Bullitt - Perfect McQueen antihero role that he grows to love. As a police officer attempting to keep his witness alive. McQueen sees a ton of mayhem as the mob is out to slay the man he must defend. Cast includes Steve McQueen, Robert Vaughn, Jacqueline Bisset, Don Gordon, and Robert Duvall. (113 minutes, 1968)
