A Life of Her Own: Turner is at the hub of 3-way romance leading to heartbreak for all. Dvorak wraps it up with her master depiction of an aging model. A gentleman is arrested, and a well known Northern attorney takes the case, however everyone appears more fascinated with capitalizing on personal desires than in due process. No punches are held in this still-commanding film. Lana Turner plays the unlucky gal, in her first big role. Cast includes Claude Pours, Gloria Dickson, Otto Kruger, Allyn Joslyn, Elisha Chef, Jr., and Edward Norris. (95 minutes, 1937)

Side Out: College kid comes to Soulhern California for a summer job expulsing occupants for his sleazy uncle although as an alternative ends up joining wilh one of his potential victims for the final shore volleyball match. The sand and sun are the lone highlights of this no brainer which alleges to be the first big screen film in regards to volleyball. Cast includes Thomas Howell, Peter Horton, Courtney Thome-Smilh, Harley Jane Kozak, Christopher Rydell, Terry Kiser, Randy Stoklos, Sinjin Smilh, and Kathy Ireland. (100 minutes, 1990)

Soapdish: Farcical comedy in reference to a soap opera monarch who's trailing her clutch--on the show, and her life. Field and Kline are a treat to watch playing larger than life characters, however Whoopi is trashed, Downey is miscast, and the script (by Robert Harling and Andrew Bergman) imagines "anxious" equals "funny." Cast includes Sally Field, Kevin Kline, Robert Downey, Jr., Cathy Moriarty, Whoopi Goldberg, Elisabeth Shue, Carrie Fisher, Garry Marshall, Teri Hatcher, Paul Johansson, Costas Mandylor, Stephen Nichols, Kathy Najimy, and Ben Stein. (95 minutes, 1991)

Slaughter in San Francisco: Prior cop Wong desires retribution on killer of his companion. Norris, in an aiding role, is the poor guy. Cast includes Don Wong, Ditch Norris, Sylvia Channing, Robert Jones, and Dan Ivan. (87 minutes, 1981)

Play it as it Lays: Film rendition of Joan Didion's best-seller in reference to the neglected spouse of a selfish film director is helped by Weld and Perkins. Cast includes Tuesday Weld, Anthony Perkins, Tammy Dirties, Adam Roarke, Ruth Ford, and Eddie Firestone. (100 minutes, 1984)

Believe in me: Still another 1970s film that all about drug problems. Working gal Bisset finds herself completely dependant on speed while living in the East Village section of New York City. Cast includes Michael Sarrazin, Jacqueline Bisset, Jon Cypher, Allen Garfield, and Kurt Dodenhoff. (90 minutes, 1971)

Paddy: Irish lover Cavern tries to shuffle differed sensual confronts with uninspired home life in typical comedy-drama. Cast includes Milo O'Shea, Des Cavern, Dearbhla Molloy, Judy Cornwell, and Donald LeBlanc (97 minutes, 1970)
