Magic Drops Eliminate 100's Of Calories Consumed Daily From Beverages: We're Drinking More Calories Than Ever!

By George Napoli

You may be one of those people that fall for the word magic when put together with anything, like magic pills, magic drops or even magic potions that help you lose weight. As you probably already know by now, there are no magic pills or formulas when it comes to losing weight, yet people earn thousands of dollars promising magic formulas that end up being empty promises.

No one said losing weight is easy and even if you look real hard, you won't see anything magical out there. Dieters must have discipline, commitment and motivation to stay in the right direction. Now there is something new on the calorie front when it comes to calories and losing weight and will become the real eye opening. Its one thing to count the calories you consume in everyday eating, but do you really pay notice or even consider daily caloric intake through drinks.

Each of us have to think about summing up beverage calories and you will too, once you know the total calories a person goes through daily in beverages. It means a lot of extra pounds each year, plus sizes to your clothes size that shows it all. Men's Health Magazine, March 09 published an expose on this subject titled; were drinking more calories than we use to.

Here's what NC University reports stated in that timely editorial: 1. the average consumer drinks 450 calories a day 2. that's a whopping 29 pounds annually in extra weight we have to deal with 3. typical fruit juices, sodas, pops and beverages are either artificially sweetened or sweetened with high fructose corn syrup, especially kids drinks that are nothing more than sweetened water

Another update on high calorie beverages is from Harvard and they seem to be singing the same sad song to a newer melody. Harvard Medical School prepared a paper on this timely subject. Title: Sugar and Obesity: high calorie drinks to blame. Now its more than 100's of calories a day that becomes extra pounds annually, plus inches at the end of the day. Now its a matter of good health.

Their report brings serious medical conditions from artificial sweeteners, along with calories from sodas, pops, juices and other beverages. Their claim is that women who drank one or more daily beverages with these high fructose sweeteners were 83% more likely to develop type 2 diabetes than women who didn't. Not surprisingly, they were also more likely to gain weight.

In a nut shell, bottles of flavoring water on the super market shelves isn't the best solution either since they contain high sugar amounts and hurt the wallet. Look to more flavored h2o with 0 count and look at the label of what you drink- servings number and servings of calories, both are good beginning locations. Always see ways to enhance the flavor of tap water without adding calories. That's your best solution overall.

Lastly, not the last say of course, with the total calories consumed on a daily basis, combined with your wellness and good health at risk, keeping a watch on the label of juices etc., just may help you keep your notch in your belt where it belongs! Use more water and look to make it taste better without adding calories. Water is the real magic formula and as far as those magic drops; let's just call them natural flavoring concentrates with 0 calories for now. They work and maybe you will find the magic in them too if they assist you in your weight loss goals!!!
